DB Schenker improves EBIT despite lower revenues

The freight forwarding unit of European rail giant Deutsche Bahn AG saw earnings before interest and taxes increase 3.8 percent 410 million euros (U.S. $438.5 million) on revenues that slid 2.2 percent to 15.1 billion euros in 2016.
