Several media reports are already linking the explosion, which took place at around 1 a.m. local time in the sorting area of the company’s facility in Schertz, Texas, with a string of four bombings in Austin that have killed two people and injured four others since March 2.
FBI Special Agent Michelle Lee reportedly told NBC Washington that it’s too early in the investigation to draw a direct correlation, but "it would be silly for us not to admit that we suspect it's related” to the previous bombings.
One employee was treated at the scene for a headache and a possible concussion, but was later released and no other injuries have been reported, according to the Schertz Police Department.
