Chicago-based project44 and the Danish firm Gatehouse Logistics jointly announced Wednesday that they have entered into an exclusive multinational agreement that will “provide secure and authorized access to the largest visibility network across North America and Europe.”
The partnership will accelerate “the ability for both technology providers to deliver visibility solutions across multiple transportation modes and geographies,” the companies said in the announcement.
Gatehouse Logistics CEO Jesper Bennike said both companies “have been championing the importance of high-fidelity data for years. This collaboration aligns with both companies’ core promise to deliver the most comprehensive global visibility engine powered only be secure, high-quality and real-time information.”
The companies said end-to-end supply chain visibility is critical for complex global organizations looking to monitor global operations, increase efficiencies and improve the overall customer experience. Heralded as a first-of-its-kind multinational partnership, the collaboration is designed to provide visibility into key transportation processes, ensuring global organizations can accurately see and proactively respond to events in their supply chain at the speed of thought.
Customers of project44 and Gatehouse Logistics now have immediate and actionable access to a network of 175,000 multimodal carriers — 90,000 capacity providers in North America and 85,000 in Europe.
