Port of Oakland sees increased throughput despite fewer vessel calls

Through July, 954 container ships have visited the Port of Oakland in 2017, down 7.6 percent from 1,032 calls during the same period last year, putting vessel calls for the full year on pace to be about 100 fewer than the port received in 2016.
