On August 27, the Vermont Department of Health issued the final rule for the implementation and enforcement of the state’s Toxic Substances in Children’s Product Law. The final rule provides the requirements for the disclosure and reporting of chemicals of high concern in children’s products — including children’s fashion accessories, footwear, and apparel — sold in the State of Vermont. The first reports are due July 1, 2016.
