Executive Moves: Metro Ports and Chain.io

   Metro Ports has promoted David Parrott to vice president of operations for the U.S. Gulf Coast, East Coast and Great Lakes regions.
   Parrott will assume a more strategic role in charting the future of the company’s terminals in Wilmington and Morehead City, N.C.;
Burns Harbor, Ind.; and Galveston, Texas.
   Parrott brought more than 27 years of maritime industry experience when he joined Metro Ports in October 2016. He began his career with Wilhelmsen Lines and rose through the ranks to serve as port manager for the company’s largest port in Savannah, Ga. He later was CEO of Liberty Terminals.

   Supply chain integration platform Chain.io has hired Holly Cuccolo to be responsible for solutions design and collaborate with the sales and client success teams as well as manage and grow the business analyst group.
   Chain.io said Cuccolo brings a wealth of experience within integration design and EDI architecture. Positions include senior EDI director for a global apparel company and senior platform consultant for a technology firm. 
   CEO Brian Glick said Cuccolo’s “unparalleled knowledge of the retail supply chain integration will be an asset to both our retail and freight-forwarding clients.”
